01Verified game rule

Each operator receives 3 AP per turn. The squad shares one player phase, so actions may be interleaved.

Planning note

Sequence movement, attacks, Utilities, and reactions without leaving an operator exposed.

Turn-end check

Can every operator survive the enemy response and still reach the next objective?

03Tactical procedure

Use this procedure as a decision order, not a rigid script. Re-check it whenever a hit misses, reinforcements arrive, or the objective changes.

  1. 01Mark the mandatory objective or extraction action before moving anyone.
  2. 02Choose each operator’s safe end tile and reserve the AP needed to reach it.
  3. 03Interleave scouting, support, and damage instead of finishing one operator at a time.
  4. 04Spend the last AP only after checking the enemy response and the next objective.

04Field scenario

At a relay door, let the scout reveal the lane, have support enable the shooter, remove the enemy controlling the route, then use the reserved AP to interact or return to full cover.

05Common failure modes

× 01

Completing all three actions on one operator before new information is revealed.

× 02

Opening with a low-value shot and discovering the objective needed that AP.

× 03

Using Overwatch before repositioning, which ends that operator’s current turn when it triggers.

06End-of-turn checklist

  1. 01Did the squad advance the objective, not only deal damage?
  2. 02Can every exposed operator reach cover or receive protection?
  3. 03Is a response option still available for the enemy phase?
  4. 04Is extraction still reachable if reinforcements arrive?
